Ta Lien Son lies in Ta Leng Commune, Tam Duong District, Lai Chau Province in northern Vietnam. With an altitude of 2,996 m, it is the highest pinnacle in the mountainous province.
Ta Lien Peak will not attract you come back by adventure, but you will choose it first because the beautiful of the wild and so amazing of Mystic Forest here.
It can be affirmed with certainty that the forest in Talien is the most beautiful among the top 15 peaks highest in VietNam. Although it is not as ghostly as Ta Xua Mountain - Walking on the Dinosaur Spine, it is not as many complex terrains as Nam Kang Ho Tao Mountain - The Death Realm of the North or Po Ma Lung Mountain - The forest wall of border... but with the ancient trees with strange shapes, covered by green moss... it makes your heart sob, amazed at the sight of the nature.
Ta Lien is far more amazing than you can expected: a secluded wood blocks the sunlight, a track full of strange creatures, ancient trees with giant trunk, which are too hight for anyone to see the top, covered by creeper.
If you lucky, you will admire a forest of colorful Rhododendron flowers, or amazing sky of maple leaves. The two species of trees look like the cheeky queens of this mysterious forest. To meet maple leaves you have to go in October and November, and to meet Rhododendron flowers you must to go in March and April every year. However, it depends a lot on weather factors. If the climate that year too cold, Rhododendron would sleep with countless buds. And if rains a lot, maple leaves is covered by moody color. I am not a lucky guy, it was so cold and heavy rainy. But i will be back, not just once, until see them.

To get the top, you have to pass through the bamboo forest, at an altitude of over 2500 meters... you can clearly feel the breath of the mountains. The cool air surrounds you, it dispels all the troubles, all the hardships... all the thoughts in your head. Only the purest part of your soul remains with the enchanting beauty of the Nature.
You will never see anything like that. Being compared with the forests in fairy tales, Ta Lien is such a mysterious destination you cannot skip.
