In particular, not only attracts tourists by its majestic beauty, this mountain is also associated with ancient stories and legends from the beginning of the world.
According to ancient myths, from the time of the birth of the site, on the land of Ta Giang Phùng suddenly appeared a giant god with a muscular body. So far, wherever you step, the ground sinks there. However, this god is rich in love. Loving the people here is poor and miserable, so day and night are leveling the land for farming, ditches, diligently gathering all the soil and rock to form a mountain range. Day by day, that mountain had reached nine layers of clouds and was about to reach the roof of the sky. Ngoc Hoang saw that, very angry, and sent the god of thunder and lightning to attack the mountain range. However, using all means still could not level the mountains of that giant god. The god of thunder and lightning was forced to return to blame Ngoc Hoang.
And that mountain range, though being sharpened by lightning and pointed straight up as high as five fingers defying the blue sky, still stands firm to this day. People in the valley of Ta Giang Phinh then named the mountain Ngu Chi Son.
It is a very strange mountain which has the shape of a hand with fingers pointing towards the sky. "Ngu Chi Son" in Vietnamese means "a five-finger mountain". There are several legends about this mysterious mountain, passed onto many generations. To conquer this mountain, you have to go through lots of fast-running streams and the most imposing waterfalls in our Northwestern, through extreme wilderness with dangerous cliffs and wail of the wind..
