Po Ma Lung (Bach Moc Luong or Bach Long)
Po Ma Lung has an altitude of 2967 meters and is one of the peaks with a conquest route located in the VietNam - China border belt, in Phong Tho, Lai Chau province. The name of the mountain is also very interesting when it makes up the confusion with Ky Quan San (Bach Moc Luong Tu) Mountain - Cloud heaven. In addition, it is also known by another name: Bach Long (dragon white). From the villagers here, that name is associated with the legend of a dragon, it dived into a deep lake here and disappeared. Right now, that deep lake has been filled up due to the mountains collapse and created the extremely majestic dragon fairy waterfall.
And another special name, the first conquest team gave this mountain the Buc Tuong (The wall) for tribute singer Tran Lap, one member of band Buc Tuong. However, at the present time, Po Ma Lung is used as the official name of this peak

Po Ma Lung – A journey of limited challenges
Po Ma Lung likened to a forgotten "garden of paradise". Because it has wild beauty with many flowers on both sides of the mountain, majestic waterfalls, primeval forest resplendent in the sunlight. In the morning, the maple trees dye the whole forest red. It will be a magical attraction for any trekkers.
No exaggeration, Po Ma Lung is land of streams. During the way, you will be friend with the stream. One thing as i really like about the streams here. it is quality of water, it so clean and very cool. i sure that you never drink any water better than it.
The streams in Po Ma Lung also make a strong impression on you by the largest boulders in the Northwest. It was created from extreamly huge stone, and the water flow has molded, eroded it from thousands or millions years ago.
When crossing the roads along the large waterfall, you will continue to encounter many streams with large, smooth and slippery rocks. Continuous journey with small, narrow roads and diverse terrain. Vegetation is distributed according to altitude, making the landscape change constantly. Go through banana forest, then cardamom, then bamboo and ancient forest. You will not be able to count how many rapids, waterfalls, streams... as you have overcome in the mountains. But Po Ma Lung will bring for you wonderful emotions and experiences as you never forget it.
